Paper AK-47

Martin Postler has created a 1:1 scale papercraft AK-47 for $30. From the description on their site it seems it is a study into the history and into your intentions of it as a gun. You can leave it as is, paint it, or destroy it .

Bug Art

Artist Steven R. Kutcher has been using bugs to make abstract art. He takes the bugs and coats them in watercolor paint and has them move naturally around on watercolor paper. The result is a very interesting when considered it has been created by insects. Recently the Washington Post wrote a detailed article on his art. Kutcher influences the bugs using certain outside stimuli such as light or touch.
