This freaky interactive flash piece seems to have been created by a Brazilian design firm using some software called Motion Portrait. It might take a little bit to load since the file is pretty big.

Magdalena Kohler and Hanna Wiesener from the University of the Arts in Berlin has created a knitting machine called Gelsomina that can record the frequency of a human’s voice. By speaking into a microphone, a hacked knitting machine will convert the recording into binary code and knit it into the weave of the clothing.

This is a great collection of large corporations’ logos which have been redesigned using the “Web 2.0″ generally accepted design style. Some are pretty cool like the Quaker Oats logo while others are kinda tough to swallow. A few of the corporations featured include FedEx, McDonald’s, AT&T, Wal-Mart, Quaker Oats, Best Buy, Nike, and John Deere.
