I really like the “realistic” icons right now such as this one below. I would love to see a whole set done this way.

This site has a gallery of very nice cars made from paper. These are some of the most detailed I have seen. After clicking on the car you will see some links in the bottom part that will contain the pdf of car parts and instructions if you want to build one yourself.

Robert Rauschenberg Dies but Leaves Creative Influence

Robert Rauschenberg has died at the age of 82. I am not going to go into all his contributions to art as there will be many sites going into great detail over his work, but leave it only by saying he was part of an important era of art history. During this time, artists such as Rauschenberg were challenging our concepts of art and communication between the creator and audience. Wikipedia article on Robert Rauschenberg.

This is a great time lapse video of artist Chad Pugh designing a login illustration for video site Vimeo. Roughly 40 hours were captured in 7 minutes in this video. I always enjoy seeing how artists work.
